Note: This article applies to the CCDL1 course.
Each week, members of the CCDL1 community compete for a spot in the top 10 based on their progress. The leaderboard shows the top 10 users alongside your own rank and points.
If you’re in the top 10, you will appear there. If not, your rank is shown separately at the bottom so you can always track your position.
1. How Points Work
Points are earned by completing course activities:
Activity | Points |
Lesson | 1 |
Lab | 2 |
Investigation | 5 |
2. How Rankings Work
Rankings are determined by total points. In case of ties, the following tiebreakers apply in order:
More investigations completed
More labs completed
More lessons completed
Reached the score earlier
4. Weekly Reset
The leaderboard resets every Monday at 00:00 UTC.
Mondays are results day: the leaderboard freezes to show the previous week’s final standings. Check to see how your week of effort ranked.
Any progress made on Monday counts toward next week’s leaderboard, but new rankings remain hidden until Tuesday.
From Tuesday onward, rankings update live every 30 minutes, and the competition is on!
