Lab Machine Termination
Updated over a week ago

Lab Machine Termination

At CyberDefenders.org, lab sessions are designed to provide an optimal learning environment. To ensure fair access to resources and maintain system performance, lab machines may be terminated automatically under certain conditions. When this happens, a pop-up message will appear to inform you of the termination.

Reasons for Automatic Termination:

  • Inactivity: Extended periods of inactivity will lead to automatic termination.

  • Resource Limits: If resource limits are reached, the system may terminate the lab machine to free up capacity.

  • Session Duration: Sessions are limited to a specific duration to ensure availability for all users.

What Should You Do?

If your lab session ends automatically, start a new session to continue your work.
