Troubleshooting the "Security Verification Failed" Error

If the Sign In page shows a "Security verification failed" error, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

This error comes from Cloudflare, the third-party security service we use to protect the platform from attacks and bots. On some networks, Cloudflare cannot verify your connection due to how that network is configured, which prevents you from signing in.

1. Check Whether Your Network Is the Cause

  • If the page loads normally, your network is not blocking the security service.

  • If the page does not load or hangs, your network is likely the cause.

2. Try These Quick Fixes

If the page above did not load, try each of the following:

  • Switch to a different network (for example, a mobile hotspot instead of WiFi).

  • Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge).

  • Disable any browser extensions, such as ad blockers or privacy tools.

  • Clear your browser cache and cookies.

3. For Business or Restricted Networks

If the issue goes away on a different network, your original network may be blocking Cloudflare. Contact your IT team and ask them to whitelist the domain "challenges.cloudflare.com".

4. Still Seeing the Error?

If the problem continues across all networks and browsers, contact our support team via chat with the following details:

  • Your account email and the browser you are using.

  • A screenshot of the error.
