Scheduling, Attempts, and Retake Policies

Updated this week

Exam Scheduling

Any Certified CyberDefenders certification exam offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing you to start at any time that suits you without the need to complete any specific content beforehand.

Upon enrolling in the course, you are granted two attempts to pass the exam:

  • First attempt: within a 3-month window from enrollment

  • Second attempt: within a 4-month window from enrollment

Important: You must start your exam before the expiration date shown on your dashboard. Once you begin the exam before this deadline, you will have the full 48 hours to complete it, even if the expiration date passes during your exam period.

Exam Attempts and Retake Policy

Upon purchasing the CCD course, students are granted two attempts to pass the exam. Should you need more than two attempts, additional ones can be purchased through the CCD Store.

Retake Policy:

  • After any unsuccessful attempt, you can retake the exam 30 days after your last attempt.

  • Once you have successfully passed the exam, no further attempts are permitted, even if you have unused attempts remaining.

This policy ensures candidates have ample time to review and prepare adequately for their next attempt.
