Guidance and Hints

At CyberDefenders, we're dedicated to providing an immersive and challenging learning experience that equips you with real-world cybersecurity skills. To uphold the integrity of our training and the learning experience, we have established clear policies regarding the provision of guidance and hints for our labs.

We do not allow walkthroughs, hints, or guidance for BlueYard Active Labs and Certified CyberDefender (CCD) course Labs. These labs are designed to simulate real-world scenarios where you will often need to rely on your own research, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Encountering difficulties is a natural part of the learning process. Each challenge you face is an opportunity to refine your approach and develop resilience. We've seen many students make significant progress as they push the boundaries of their comfort zones and fully complete the labs on their own.

For learners seeking a more guided approach, you can do Retired Labs. Retired labs are archives of previously Active Labs and now include community-provided guidance and walkthroughs. For more information about Active & Retired Labs, feel free to visit this article.
