Browser-based Labs Guide
This guide is designed to help users navigate and effectively use CyberRange Pro browser-based labs. These labs are designed to ensure a comprehensive, hands-on learning environment accessible directly via your web browser, eliminating the necessity for additional configurations.
Getting Started with Browser-Based Labs
Accessing the Lab:
Navigate to the lab page you want to start.
Select the machine region from the drop-down menu and click on "Start Lab Machine"; it will launch in a new browser tab.
Understanding the Lab Interface:
Extend: Add more time to your lab session if needed.
Help?: Join our Discord server to report any problem you might encounter during the lab.
Fullscreen: Expand the lab to full screen.
Instructions: Access the lab instructions.
Questions: View and answer the lab questions.
Using the Clipboard Feature
To be able to use copy/paste between your local machine and any lab cloud machine, you need to do the following:
Allow Clipboard Permission:
Click on the lock icon in the URL bar of your browser to access site settings.
Find and enable the 'Clipboard' setting to allow copy-paste operations between the lab environment and your local machine.
Use Google Chrome for the best experience. Copy/paste has been known to have issues on Firefox and Safari.
