Azure Lab Lesson

Before we dive into troubleshooting, it's important to ensure you've reviewed the "Azure Lab" lesson within the CCD course. This lesson contains essential steps to accept the Azure invitation correctly and is often the quickest path to resolving access issues.

  • Sign in to CyberDefenders and access the "Azure Lab" lesson.

  • Follow the instructions carefully to ensure your Azure account is set up correctly.

Unable to accept the invitation

Sometimes, having multiple aliases used for your Microsoft account can cause issues with accepting the invitation. Here's how you can resolve this issue:

  1. Visit the Microsoft Account Page:

  2. Sign in with Microsoft Account Credentials:

    • Enter your login details to access your account overview page.

  3. Access 'Your Info' Tab:

    • Once logged in, click on the "Your info" tab at the top of the page.

  4. Manage Your Account Aliases:

    • Scroll down next to "Account info" section. Click on "Edit account info".

    • In the "Account alias" section, find the alias that matches the email address used for your CCD course.

  5. Set as Primary Alias:

    • Next to the correct alias, click on "Make primary" to set it as your primary email alias.

  6. Attempt Accessing Azure Again:

    • With your new primary email alias set, retry the Azure invitation link. You should now have access to the CCD directory.

Finding the "Certified CyberDefender Course (CCD)" Directory

One more hiccup is not seeing the "Certified CyberDefender Course (CCD)" in the "Directories + subscriptions" section of your Azure portal. Here's how to resolve it:

  1. Enable Advanced Filters:

    • Go to the "Directories + subscriptions" section in your Azure portal.

    • If the CCD directory isn't immediately visible, try enabling "Advanced filters".

    • Your directory list should reload, and the "Certified CyberDefender Course (CCD)" should now be visible.
